I first saw this case in part... I bought a Nova locally, and the top half of such a case (in green) was thrown in as part of the deal. Talk about interest piqued! Shortly thereafter, I saw this one on eBay... and had to have it.
It reminds me of an old-fashioned apothecary's case. Mind you, I do not claim that it was ever called that by Necchi, it's just my term to delineate it from other cases. That's my disclaimer :-)

The accessory/feet case is leather-like (maybe genuine?). Very nice.

The "normal" feet and accessories, plus the straight-stitch and the darning throat plates.
